My friend Bill and his fiancee, Mary, will be honeymooning in Banff Canada this summer. Now I’ve never met Mary and for all I know she’s one of those “always traveling supermodel fiancee’s” that guys like Bill talk about. Maybe she’s real, maybe not. Anyway, I’m hoping that someone can take a photo of Bill and his betrothed in this same spot at the Fairmont Hotel. Just look for the happy couple~!
This looks to be taken on the balcony at Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. I was in a Cadet Band that played on that balcony every summer from 1987-1990. I’m sure that it’s the Bow River in the background, along with the hotel’s golf course. Trivia: I met my husband playing in that band and my first picture I have of him is on that balcony (as a 15 year old).

Pretty spectacular, isn't it? One of the most beautiful hotels on earth snuggled into one of the most beautiful places on earth.
