Photos of Your Mom, Dad, and That Weird Uncle Who Always Went to Jail

Whistlin’ Dixie

We’d been without internet access for the past 5 days and it was if someone had sucked all of the air ourt of the room and I couldn’t breathe. I felt like a junkie trying to score a fix while blindly guessing at the neighbors wireless router passwords. Addiction is not a pretty sight people. If bandwith were a grape popsicle, I’d be the grimy little kid in the trailer park with purple lips and a spotted Yahoo t-shirt to match.

Park Lane Hotel

This is one of the images that originally sparked my interest in found film. If you look at the archives of the site you will see that the first slide posted was of this same pool. I prefer that other image to this one but my question still remains…. Where is this Hotel? The diving board certainly reads Park Lane Hotel and google will tell you there are many. So, does anyone know where this hotel is and have some old photos to back up their claim?

Is You Is?

I got a guy who’s always late. Every time we have a date. But I love him. Yes I love him. I am going to walk right up to his gate. To see if I can get it straight. Cause I want him. Oh yes I’m gonna ask him. Is you is or is you ain’t my baby. The way your acting lately makes me doubt. You have always been my baby, baby. Seems the flame in your heart has gone out. So Is you is or is you ain’t my baby?

Blueberry Carrot

Please forgive the momentary diversion from your daily vintage programming. On Friday evening, Desmond Leaf joined our family. Now at this point you’re probably thinking that I don’t know how to spell Leif, but your wrong. You see, we let our daugther pick out Desmonds middle name. Leaf was one of her acceptable suggestions. Sadly we had to cancel many others which included BlueBerry Carrot and Donut Cookie. Welcome Home Desmond~!

Santa Power

We’re past the due date now and still no baby. I had a bit of a revelation while doing some christmas shopping the other afternoon though. I realized that by increasing the number of children in the house, from one to two, I now have an obligation to buy even more toys. I really like shopping for toys and now I have a bonafide reason to do so. When the little guy arrives we’re going to have a lot of fun. I guarantee it.
